South Bali tour

This half day into evening tour sticks to the southern tip of Bali, mixing culture, coastline, and a sunset show. It opens at Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, where Indonesia's tallest statue  sculptor Nyoman Nuarta's depiction of Wisnu riding the Garuda  towers over the surrounding limestone plateau.

From GWK, the drive continues to Melasti Beach, a stretch of white sand tucked beneath tall cliffs and reached by a road cut straight through the rock  the turquoise water here is a favorite for a swim or just a walk along the shore.

Next is Uluwatu Temple, perched on a sheer cliff above the Indian Ocean and known for its sunset views and the macaques that live around the grounds. As evening sets in, you'll watch a Kecak Dance performance at an open-air stage near the temple, a Balinese show carried by chanting voices rather than instruments.

The day wraps up with a seafood dinner served right on the sand at Jimbaran Bay, with the day's fresh catch grilled Balinese-style at one of the beachfront restaurants there.
