The following terms and conditions, along with the cultural guidelines below, apply to all tour packages listed in this document.

Reservations should be made ahead of time through WhatsApp, the booking form on our website, or by email.
Your spot is only guaranteed once our team sends you a confirmation message.
To make sure a vehicle and guide are available, please book at least 24 hours before your preferred date.

You may pay your driver directly in cash (IDR) on the day of the tour, or use another approved payment method.
For certain tours, an advance deposit may be required; if so, we'll let you know at the time of booking.

Canceling more than 24 hours ahead of your scheduled tour is free of charge.
A cancellation fee may apply if you cancel within 24 hours of the tour.
Guests who cancel on the same day or simply don't show up are not entitled to a refund.
Should we need to cancel a tour ourselves — for example, due to bad weather or road closures — you'll be offered either a full refund or a rebooking on another date.

We'll try our best to adjust your itinerary if needed, so let us know about any changes as soon as you can.
Moving your tour to a new date depends on whether a slot is open.

The tour price covers the vehicle, fuel, and driver.
Unless stated otherwise, things like entrance tickets, activities, meals, and other personal costs are not part of the price.

We advise every guest to arrange their own travel and medical insurance, as we cannot be held responsible for injury, loss, or damage that occurs during the tour.

Although we take care to keep every tour safe and enjoyable, Mata Bali Private Driver cannot accept responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur along the way.

We may decline to continue service for guests who act inappropriately, are visibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or endanger the safety of others.

Any personal details you share when booking are kept private and used solely to arrange and deliver your tour.

Do's & Don'ts

Dos in Bali

Cover your shoulders and knees when visiting a temple.
Show respect for local customs, since Balinese culture is closely tied to religion and spirituality.
Give and receive items with both hands as a sign of courtesy toward locals.
Remove your shoes before stepping into a home or temple.
Pick up a few local words — even just "Terima kasih" (thank you) is appreciated.
Negotiate prices at markets with a smile; polite bargaining is normal there.
Throw your rubbish away properly to help keep the island clean.

Don'ts in Bali

Avoid touching anyone's head, as it's regarded as disrespectful.
Don't point at things with your feet — they're considered the least clean part of the body in Balinese belief.
Women are traditionally asked not to enter temples while menstruating.
Try not to raise your voice or argue publicly, as this is generally frowned upon.
Skip the tap water — stick to bottled or filtered water instead.
Don't leave litter behind or disturb the natural surroundings; help protect Bali's environment and sacred sites.
